What belongs in a maintenance plan?
What to consider Routine care, when included A separately scoped project
Software Covered updates, a backup, and checks of key pages and forms. Replacing an unsupported theme or resolving an existing compromise.
Content The small text or image changes covered by your plan's allowance. A new page design, a full copy rewrite, or a new feature.
Support Monitoring and the response path stated in the agreement. Emergency coverage or additional development beyond the agreed service.

A good fit

This sounds like you.

  • The site needs routine platform, theme, or plugin updates.
  • Nobody currently owns backups, uptime checks, or small content requests.
  • You want one documented access list and a clear escalation path.

Worth thinking through

A different route may fit.

  • Most requests are new pages, features, or integrations that need project time.
  • The site is already unstable and needs a repair project first.
  • A third party controls critical access and will not provide it.

What we’ll make together

The work behind
the finished website.

01

Platform, hosting, domain, DNS, plugins, forms, analytics, and backup responsibilities are mapped at onboarding.

02

Routine updates

Covered software changes are applied with backups and a check of critical pages and forms.

03

Monitoring

The agreed uptime, security, or performance checks are configured with a defined response path.

04

Monthly record

You can see completed maintenance, open risks, and work that falls outside the plan.

the guesswork.

Your proposal confirms the deliverables, responsibilities, price, and support window before work starts.

How the work moves

One clear step at a time.

  1. 01

    Inventory access

We identify the owner and recovery path for the domain, DNS, hosting, CMS, forms, and analytics.

    Stabilize

Known update, backup, or security gaps are resolved before routine care begins.

  3. 03

    Run the schedule

Covered checks and updates happen on the written cadence with a basic regression review.

Before we start

Good questions.

Is hosting included?

Hosting is included only when listed in your proposal. The platform and update needs determine the right hosting and care plan. We show those costs separately before you decide.

Are content edits included?

The plan states the type and amount of covered editing. New page design, copywriting, and features are separate project work.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

Yes, after an initial review of the platform, access, backups, and current condition. Existing faults may need a repair project before regular maintenance starts. The review also establishes who is responsible for hosting and third-party services.
